    Product description

The Salomon Sight Snowboard is your ticket to a versatile and exciting all-mountain snowboarding experience. Designed with a freeride-inspired approach, this board is perfectly suited for riders who demand top-notch performance and versatility across various terrains.

The directional shape and medium flex of the Sight make it a superb choice for cruising groomers, effortlessly floating through soft snow, and confidently tackling steep and challenging terrain. It's a board that caters to both beginners and seasoned riders, offering a well-balanced blend of stability and maneuverability.

What sets the Sight apart are the advanced features that enhance the ride. The Quadralizer sidecut delivers maximum edge control, allowing you to navigate slopes with precision and confidence. Ghost Basalt Stringers provide a smooth and responsive ride, ensuring that you're always in control.

Whether you're looking to explore new runs, refine your skills, or simply have a great time on the mountain, the Salomon Sight Snowboard is a fantastic choice. It's a board that can adapt to your style and skill level, making each day on the slopes a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Rocker Type: Cross Profile – This snowboard features camber between the feet for better control, pop, and landing stability. It has rocker on the tip and tail for effortless flotation forward and switch riding.

    Flex:

    • Flex Rating – 2.5 (1 Soft - 5 Stiff) – This snowboard has a soft flex, making it forgiving and easy to maneuver.

Shape: Tapered Directional – The tail width is slightly tapered (2-20mm), which improves turning initiation and floatation in deeper snow without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack.

Quadratic Sidecut: Quadratic sidecuts use three or more radii instead of a continuous radial sidecut. The radii of the sidecut are shallower at the ends and deeper in the middle, which promotes easier turn initiation.

    Core:

    • Popster – This shaped core profile thins out underfoot and thickens outside your bindings before tapering again at the tip and tail. This maximizes the natural snap and pop of wood.
    • Aspen Strong Core – CNC-selected high-density wood strips for the inserts and rail zones result in improved impact resistance and a predictable flex from opening day to spring slush.

Laminates: Biaxial Low Density Fiberglass – Low-density fibers allow for lighter boards that maintain a playful, forgiving flex.

Sidewalls: Royal Cork Rails – These eco-friendly cork rails provide impact and chatter absorption while being kind to the planet.

    Base:

    • Medium Stone Finish – A medium structure finish that improves base glide in various snow conditions, from cold morning corduroy to spring slush.
    • Extruded EG – A harder compound than EXT, Salomon EXT EG combines the easy maintenance of a non-sintered base with added Electra for increased gliding characteristics.

Edges: All-Mountain Edge Bevels – A 1° edge holding tune throughout the key parts of the sidecut meets a 2° bevel between the feet, delivering solid edge hold without hang-ups.

    Additional Features:

    • Natural Wax

Binding Compatibility: 2 x 4 Insert Pattern – Compatible with various binding setups.
