      About Ski Barn

      1.1 Who is the Ski Barn?

      Ski Barn Durango hosts southwest Colorado's largest selection of skis, snowboards, bikes, and paddleboards.  We offer friendly staff with product expertise, boot fitting services, repairs, rentals, and more.

       

      Owners Bill and Angie Brown are proud to be operating Durango's favorite ski shop as a family run business.  Ski Barn has been a staple of Durango for over 40 years!

      1.2 What services do you offer?

      We offer a full sales floor featuring all the latest gear from the best brands in the industry.  We sell skis, snowboards, bicycles, stand up paddleboards (SUP), clothing, accessories, parts and more!

       

      We offer ski and snowboard tunes, repairs, and waxing.  We have master boot fitters to help you lock in the perfect ski boot.  Our knowledgeable staff can help you choose the perfect winter setup to compliment your unique abilities and style.

       

      Our rental and reservations system helps provide you with choice ski gear for your next trip.

       

      We are staffed with expert bike mechanics and offer repair services to keep your bike functioning optimally.

      2.1 Can you help me choose the right gear?

      YES!

      We are eager to assist you in choosing a setup which is custom tailored to your specific needs!  We host a wide variety of staff with expertise in boot fitting, ski sizing, bike sizing, and choosing gear to fit your unique style.  We have current knowledge of the newest gear and would love to consult with you!

      2.2 What size skis should I buy?

      There are many factors which will determine your optimal ski length, including your geometry, skiing ability, style of skiing, snow type, and then some!

      A general rule of thumb will have most skis being between the standing height of your chin to the top of your head.

      2.3 How do I size ski boots?

      Ski boot sizing is one of the most critical aspects to getting maximum enjoyment and performance out of your gear.  Understanding your foot size, mondo point size, and what type of fit you want are some important pieces.  Don't risk purchasing the wrong size, reach out to our talented staff and we'll help you every step of the way.  Contact us to get in touch so we can help you find the perfect fitting boot!

      Purchasing Information

      3.1 What shipping options do you offer?

      Free shipping on orders over $99 is sent via UPS Ground.  This is automatically calculated at checkout.

      Expedited shipping options, including UPS next day air, UPS 2-day, and UPS 3-day, are available for purchase.  To view quotes, proceed to checkout and enter a shipping zip code.  Rate quotes will be calculated there.

      3.2 What is your return policy?

      We accept returns on items purchased within the last year (365 days).

      All items must be returned in the condition in which they were received, including manufacturer packaging, tags, documentation and accessories. Returns will be refused if items arrive used or damaged due to improper packaging. Please ensure returns are carefully packaged.
