This boot boasts a redesigned mold compared to previous versions. The 3D Instep shell is a standout feature, strategically placing the buckles and employing thinner plastic on the top of the foot to ensure a snug, high-performance fit without exerting unnecessary pressure on the foot's upper part.

Additionally, relocating the buckle closer to the cuff enhances heel lock and provides excellent support for maximum on-slope performance. Salomon utilizes their tried-and-true Custom Shell HD polyurethane, enabling easy customization tailored to your foot's specific requirements, creating space where needed while maintaining a secure fit elsewhere. The EL model of the S/Pro Alpha comes with extra features that simplify adjustments by your local boot fitter, making standard modifications quicker and more straightforward. This not only benefits the skier but also keeps boot fitters satisfied, contributing to an improved skiing experience.

Fit

Last: 98 mm – Designed for slim to normal width feet with a normal volume. Custom heat molding can expand the forefoot fit to approximately 104mm, enhancing customization.
Custom Shell HD – Salomon's renowned heat molding process streamlines boot fitting for various foot shapes. The latest Custom Shell HD version molds faster due to thinner wall construction and innovative shell materials. This design brings the foot closer to the shell, resulting in heightened sensitivity, increased power, and precise energy transmission.
3D Instep Shell – An innovative lower shell construction featuring thinner plastic and strategic forefoot buckle placement, reducing pressure on the top of the foot. This design facilitates easy entry and exit while ensuring a secure heel lock without unnecessary foot pressure.

Flex: 120 – Provides a stiff flex suitable for advanced to expert skiers.
Flex Adjuster – The Flex Adjuster allows you to fine-tune your flex, tailoring it to your preferences.

My Custom Fit 4D Race Liner – A pre-shaped Race liner that enhances foothold and fit, with cushiony foams and Talyn® fabric placed on the exterior to enhance comfort. The elastic toe box provides extra forefoot space.
Custom Tongue – A fully dismantlable and customizable tongue, allowing perfect instep height adjustment. You can add or remove materials for a tailored fit (+/-8mm).
