For more than 50 years, Ski Barn has been helping Durango gear up for winter. As our community grows and the needs of local skiers and snowboarders evolve, we’re committed to making it even easier for you to find exactly what you need—whether you’re renting gear for the weekend or shopping for discounted past-season equipment.

This winter, we’re excited to officially introduce the Ski Barn Outlet Store, located at our longtime North Main location. Here’s everything you need to know about how our two locations now work together to give you the best experience possible.

Downtown Location: Your Full-Service Ski & Snowboard Shop

Our Downtown store is your go-to for everything service-based, including:

  • Rentals (daily, weekly, and seasonal)

  • Full retail selection of current gear and apparel

  • Ski & snowboard tunes

  • Mounting & adjustments

  • Repairs

  • Expert boot-fitting and customer support

If you’re heading to the mountain, need same-day rentals, or want professional service from start to finish, the Downtown location is the place to be.

Ski Barn Outlet Store: Discounted Past-Season Gear

Our original North Main location has been transformed into the Ski Barn Outlet Store, offering a wide selection of past-season gear at deep discounts. This allows us to provide high-quality equipment at more accessible prices—all without the confusion that “swap” often implies.

At the Outlet Store, you’ll find:

  • Past-season skis & snowboards

  • Boots

  • Outerwear & winter apparel

  • Helmets, goggles, gloves & accessories

✨ All gear is new or unused past-season inventory—not customer-used items.

The Outlet Store is open Thursday through Sunday, with inventory that updates regularly throughout the season.

Why We Made the Change

Over the past few years, our business has expanded, and customer needs have shifted. While the Downtown store is ideal for rentals and full-service support, our North location is the perfect setting for a dedicated outlet stocked with past-season gear at reduced prices.

This update ensures:

  • A clearer experience for customers visiting Durango

  • Faster, more streamlined service at the Downtown shop

  • A space dedicated fully to discounted gear

  • Better use of each location’s strengths
